Nate Wiggins leaves Ravens game with foot injury

Nate Wiggins, the top Ravens cornerback, has been forced to leave Thursday’s game due to a foot injury.

Wiggins had been ruled out of the race at the beginning of the second period.

Wiggins’ injury is not clear, but the Ravens’ secondary has suffered a major loss.

The Bengals were a tough opponent for the second-year corner, who was on a roll against them. Wiggins snatched Bengals receiver Ja’Marr Chase’s third-down attempt to reach the end zone during the first half. This forced a field goal.

Wiggins has the most interceptions for the Ravens this season. He has made 45 tackles, and he’s broken up seven passes.

Chidobe, a fellow cornerback, cleared the concussion protocols during halftime. He is now back on the field for the second half. Marlon Hushprey and him are the Ravens outside cornerbacks.
