Mike Tomlin’s and Jim Harbaugh’s Reactions to John Harbaugh and Ravens Parting ways

Jackson Scores High in the Season Finale

Nick Akridge of Pro Football Focus says that even though the Ravens lost to the Steelers in the winner-takes-all game on Sunday, Jackson excelled, leading the league across multiple categories for passing in Week 18.

Best downfield pass (99.9 PFF Grade)

“Jackson tried his best to get the Ravens into the playoffs. His highest PFF grade for a single game of the season was achieved. In Week 18, his deep ball was flawless, going 3-for-3 with 140 yards and 2 big throws. Jackson is the seventh quarterback to receive a 99.9 grade for deep passing in a single match this season.

Best against blitz (97.1 grade PFF)

“Jackson’s best was when the Steelers blitzed. He was blitzed more than 50% times on his dropbacks, and made them pay. Jackson was 7-for-9 with 207 yards, and two high-grade throws. He made two pass rushers miss, and then hit Zay Flowers deep for a touchdown.

Best for third and fourth down (96,5 PFF grade)

It’s hard to stress how well Jackson performed in Week 18, despite the loss. He averaged a staggering 13.2 yards on each attempt, making him the best-graded QB in Week 18. Jackson made two huge throws and went 6-for-8 on important downs. He had four first downs. The fourth-down pass to Isaiah Likely, which set up the game-winning field-goal potential, was the biggest.
