The Ravens travelled to Buffalo on Sunday night hoping to wash away the bitter taste of last season’s playoff defeat. They were instead served another serving of heartbreak.
It wasn’t just that the Bills lost 41-40 in Buffalo, but also because it was a deja vu game.
The Ravens, as has been the case in the past, blew a second-half advantage because their defense could not get off the pitch and their offense, which had looked unstoppable throughout the match, couldn’t win the game. Add to that a costly fumble in the final quarter and a missed kick in the first half of the fourth, and you have another unlikely loss.
It’s highly unlikely.
