Humphrey plays with the Ravens’ physicality. He is also versatile. He plays 50% of his snaps on the outside, 33% inside the slot and the remainder in the box, essentially as a linebacker.
Humphrey also has a long history of making great plays. He recorded a career high of six interceptions in the year 2024, and four in this season. This includes a pick made in three consecutive games at the end.
He also gave up too many huge plays in this season. This season, his 49.9 Pro Football Focus score was the lowest in his nine-year professional career. PFF credited him with allowing 916 receiving yard, a new career high. The average catch was 13.7.
Humphrey conceded a 37 yard touchdown to Kyle Williams during the Patriots fourth quarter comeback victory and a 28 yard fade to Steelers wide-receiver Adam Thielen in Pittsburgh’s second-half touchdown drive that tied the match.
Humphrey stated that “my standard of play was just not what I wanted” this year. I’ve never given up explosive passes before.
