Mink : Although this isn’t really a question, I will answer it. We’re all excited by the Ravens’ chances to win the Super Bowl. The roster is filled with both veteran stars and young, up-and coming talent. The coaching staff has a lot of experience and continuity. After being so close for the past few years, it feels as if this is the year. I could continue to list the reasons I believe this is the year.
Although I love the excitement of the game, I don’t like to get ahead. In recent years, we’ve seen this path multiple times and how quickly things can change with just one play. I like how the Ravens approach the season. They hear the noise about them being a Super Bowl favourite. That’s the objective. If someone asks, they will be honest about their goal.
This team is focused on a “road” that leads to the Super Bowl. They are taking it one pit stop at the time. I thought that leader Kyle Hamilton put it very well on the “The Lounge” Podcast.
Hamilton stated that they struggled last year with this. Hamilton said, “We had a slow start, so we thought, ‘You cannot win the Super Bowl without winning these games at the beginning, the middle and the end of the year.’ I think we have focused on that, taking it one week at time. Everyone is willing to do this and not look too far ahead.”
