Kyle Hamilton’s importance to the Ravens defense is hard to quantify. Local reporters have voted him the team’s 2025 MVP.
Hamilton is the most versatile player in the NFL. He has become a focal point for opposing offenses whenever they face the Ravens.
Hamilton’s stats are impressive. In 15 games he has 96 tackles. He also has eight passes defended, seven tackles-for-loss, two forced fumbles and one sack. Hamilton’s cumulative impact is more important than his individual stats.
Hamilton played 241 snaps as a slot cornerback. He also played 215 snaps as a high safety.
After Alohi Gillman arrived, his move to a closer position at the line of scrimmage changed the Ravens defense for the better. The Ravens went on to win five out of six games after that move.
Hamilton was named Ravens Media Good Guy by local reporters. This is his second win of the award, which honors players who are always willing to speak to reporters about the team and give them insight.
“Good guy, good athlete. Hamilton: “I like to hold myself up to that standard.” It’s cool to be recognized as such by my peers, and I don’t treat it lightly.
