Late for work: Pundits question Ravens’ Offense

Ravens lose five-game winning streak after five turnovers

The Ravens’ repeated shooting of themselves in the feet was the main story of Thursday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Ravens made five turnovers in their game, which is the most since 2013. It was also the most at home since 2007. Burrow, on the other hand, played a clean match in his first game since sustaining a turf toe in Week 2.

The Ravens’ five-game win streak was shattered by a team who had lost eight out of nine games and four consecutively. They were also missing one of their most important offensive players, wide receiver Tee Higgins, as well as their best defensive player, edge rusher Trey Hendrickson.

The Ravens (6-6), who were tied for first place in the AFC North, now have to compete with the Pittsburgh Steelers (6-7), who will be playing the Buffalo Bills in Baltimore on Sunday.

The Ravens most costly mistake was a fumble that changed the momentum of a touchdown catch in the second half. It initially looked like a 44 yard catch. Likely reached out to catch the ball and Bengals safety Jordan Battle knocked it away. The ball rolled out of end zone, resulting in a touchback.

Lamar Jackson, who was responsible for all three turnovers (two interceptions and a fumble), failed to throw a touchdown for the third game in a row. This is the longest drought in his career.
