Lamar Jackson just moved one step closer to officially claiming his third NFL MVP award.
The Pro Football Writers of America (PFWA), a group of journalists who cover the league extensively, has named Jackson the 2024 NFL Most Valuable Player, further cementing his status as the favorite to win the league MVP during Super Bowl week.
This marks Jackson’s third PFWA MVP award, tying him with Tom Brady (2007, 2010, 2017) for the second-most in history. Only Peyton Manning and Aaron Rodgers (four each) have won more.
