Lamar Jackson suffers a hamstring injury in Kansas City

Lamar Jackson left Sunday’s Kansas City game with a hamstring problem.

Jackson’s last play was when George Karlaftis sacked him with 8:10 remaining in the third quarter.

The Ravens settled on a field-goal to cut the Chiefs’ advantage to 14. Kansas City then responded with a 10-play run to extend its lead to 17. Jackson remained at the bench for the next drive.

On his first play, the Ravens lost the ball on downs with Cooper Rush at the center.

Jackson hasn’t missed any games due to an injury since 2022 when he was injured after 12 matches. Tyler Huntley was the quarterback for the Ravens in that season, and they still made it to the playoffs but lost in the Wild Card round at Cincinnati.

Jackson completed 14 of 20 passes for 147 yards and one touchdown. He also had one interception. Jackson also made a costly mistake.

On the first drive, the Ravens offense sailed down the field to score a touchdown. On the Ravens’ next four drives Jackson was intercepted. The Ravens also went three-and out after two delays-of-game and an intentional grounding. They then turned the ball over on downs and Jackson fumbled.

Baltimore’s defensive line suffered two injuries during the game. Roquan Humphrey and Marlon Smith were both injured in the calf. This brings the total number of Baltimore players who are injured to six.

Joe Noteboom replaced Ronnie Stanley, the left tackle who was injured.
