Lamar Jackson refuses to blame injuries for the sluggishness of his offense

Lamar Jackson’s performance is reflected in the Ravens offensive system. Right now, both teams are grinding out wins.

Baltimore won 23-10 over the New York Jets on Sunday at M&T Bank Stadium. The win extended Baltimore’s winning streak to five. However, the players in the locker room were not celebrating the victory.

The Ravens scored 72 yards in the opening half, the second-lowest total in a half when Jackson was their starter quarterback. The Ravens won the game with four scoring drives in a row, but it was not a smooth ride.

Jackson missed two weeks of practice due to knee pain and an ankle injury. He missed three games in the early part of this season due to a hamstring problem.

Jackson told reporters this week that his ankles were wrapped on Sunday. Jackson refused to answer the question about whether injuries were hampering the Ravens offense.

“No. “No, I don’t believe that at all,” said he. “I think we need to execute better. We’re in a great field position but aren’t scoring. This has nothing to with an injury.

“I am out there so I feel that I should be able still to do what i do.” “[My ankle] was solid for the majority of time.”
