Lamar Jackson Practices Again, Ravens Healthy After Bye

Lamar Jackson was back on the field Thursday, as the Ravens prepared to face the Chicago Bears.

Jackson took part in a limited practice on Wednesday. It was his first appearance in 24 days, after he had to leave the Ravens’ defeat in Kansas City due to a hamstring problem. Jackson’s participation in Thursday’s full or limited practice is still to be determined.

Jackson’s Sunday availability is the most pressing question, but aside from him, the Ravens have been the healthiest this season after their bye.

Marlon Hushprey, cornerback, returned to the field on Thursday after being absent from practice Wednesday due to illness. DeAndre Hopkins, the wide receiver on the 53-man squad, was not present at the practice held Thursday, but spoke to reporters following the practice.

Full practice was held Wednesday for all players except Ronnie Stanley, who had an ankle injury.

Injury problems plagued the Ravens early in this season. This was one of the main reasons for their poor 1-5 record. With 11 games left, they’re looking to pull out with a winning streak.

In Week 2, the Ravens lost Pro Bowl defensive lineman Nnamdi Mdubuike due to a neck injury that ended his season. The Ravens have also placed defensive tackle Broderick Washingon Jr. (ankle), and outside linebacker Tavius Robertson (foot) on the injured reserve.

Baltimore, however, has re-acquired tight end Isaiah Likely, who missed the first three games of the season. It looks as though Ricard will make his debut this week.
