The Ravens will face the Chicago Bears even without Lamar Jackson.
Jackson was ruled out of Sunday’s crucial game, after he was downgraded on Friday from a full-time participant in practice to a limited one.
After leaving the Ravens’ game against Kansas City on Sept. 28, he will miss three straight games and over a month.
Jackson was not ready to play when the Ravens hoped he would return from the bye. He did practice for three days straight, but wasn’t yet.
John Harbaugh, the head coach, announced that Tyler “Snoop Huntley”, who was added from the practice roster to the 53-man list on Friday will replace Jackson.
Huntley started 14 games in his career over six seasons. Huntley ignited the Ravens’ offense during their loss to Los Angeles Rams just before the bye.
Huntley stepped in to replace Jackson when the Ravens played the Bears last in 2021. Baltimore rallied for a 16-13 win with a touchdown in the final minutes.
Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Jackson will return to the Ravens for their next game in Miami on “Thursday Night Football”.
