Lamar Jackson is given a rest day in the Ravens’ first injury reports of Week 15.

According to the official injury report of the Baltimore Ravens, quarterback Lamar Jackson was not able to participate in practice on Wednesday due a non-injury/rest status.

Jackson has been forced to take rest days a lot this season due to a variety injuries. Jackson missed three games due to a hamstring problem. Since then, he has been on the list of injured players with ankle, knee and toe problems.

It is mildly encouraging that this week’s rest day wasn’t attributed to a specific injury. Jackson’s decision to take a rest day and skip practice is not ideal, but the fact that he is not bothered by an injury is a positive sign. (Low bar? Probably.)

The Ravens injury report for Wednesday is here:

Chidobe, one of Ravens’ most reliable defenders in this season, was also absent. He has missed two games already this season because of a hamstring injury. Now he is dealing with a new shoulder injury. It would be a big problem for the secondary if he were to miss any games, especially since Nate Wiggins is also suffering from a foot injury.

Keaton Mitchell’s limited involvement is a positive sign. He left the Sunday loss after pulling up after a breakaway. John Harbaugh’s comments and his social media presence indicate that Mitchell, a third-year runningback, avoided an injury.

Tavius Washington (non football injury list) and Ar’Darius Washington are in their second week of a 21-day window. Harbaugh stated that both players have a shot to play against the Bengals on Sunday.
