After missing three games, the Ravens expect Lamar Jackson will play against the Miami Dolphins on Thursday night.
I am confident. John Harbaugh, the head coach of the team, said on Monday that he would expect him to play Thursday.
Jackson returned to practice last week, but was restricted throughout the week. He was ruled out of Saturday’s game. Jackson’s participation in Monday’s practice is only an estimate, but he was listed as being a full-time participant.
Harbaugh stated after the Ravens 30-16 victory over the Bears, that Jackson’s absence from the Chicago game was due to playing two games within five days. Tyler Huntley, his replacement, played an outstanding game. He completed 17 of 22 pass attempts for 186 yard and a touchdown. Huntley also ran for 53 yards.
Jackson, who was born about 25 miles from Hard Rock Stadium, would have a special homecoming on Thursday night.
In the 2019 season opener, Jackson had one of his finest moments in this stadium when he threw 5 touchdown passes. In 2021, he returned to the stadium for a Thursday Night Football game in which the Dolphins’ “blitz” stymied Baltimore in a Ravens loss of 22-10.
