Lamar Jackson, quarterback of the Baltimore Ravens, left the Chiefs’ game on Sunday midway through third quarter due to a hamstring problem.
Jackson was not able to return, and Cooper Rush completed nine of his thirteen passes for a total of 40 yards.
Jackson looked to be injured on a George Karlaftis tackle that ended the Ravens only drive in the third quarter. The two-time MVP sat on the bench for the remainder of the game with his hamstring taped.
John Harbaugh refused to provide any further updates on Jackson’s injury after the game. It is believed that it will not end his season. He refused to speculate on whether Jackson would’ve re-entered if the score had been closer.
He seemed to limp during the postgame handshakes. He didn’t speak to the media because he was receiving treatment for his hamstring. According to Brian Wacker, The Baltimore Sun who noted that Jackson still limped as he left locker room.
Jeff Darlington, ESPN’s Jeff Darlington, has another observation.
