The Baltimore Ravens clinched the AFC North on Saturday with a 35-10 win over the Cleveland Browns, moving to 12-5 on the year and locking in the No. 3 seed in the AFC playoff picture.
Quarterback Lamar Jackson put the bow on a potential third MVP season and finished the year with a career-high 4,172 passing yards and 41 touchdowns with just four interceptions while adding 915 yards and four touchdowns on the ground.
It was a record-breaking season that tops his two previous MVP campaigns from a statistical perspective, and Jackson got honest after the game about his record-breaking year.
In the postgame press conference, Jackson gave all the credit to the guys around him, saying, “That’s all my teammates, that’s just not me. When we’re practicing, I’m trying to get better. We got the look team giving us great looks, those guys are helping us out a lot…That’s all the way a team effort, that’s just not me. I do what I’m supposed to do.”

Jackson’s offensive line had a great year, and he was sacked just 23 times in 17 games, which ties for the fewest he has taken since he became a full-time starter in 2019.
Derrick Henry also capped off another dominant season at running back with 1,921 yards and 16 touchdowns on a career-high 5.9 yards per carry.
Whether or not he wins a third MVP award, the time has come for Jackson to lead this team over the hump in the playoffs.
His postseason losses have stained his career, and in the Wild Card round, he’ll begin another Super Bowl journey against either the Pittsburgh Steelers or the Los Angeles Chargers.
