Lamar Jackson may not play Saturday night against the Green Bay Packers, but do not rule out a miracle.
Jackson hasn’t been practicing all week. But Head Coach John Harbaugh says he doesn’t have to practice if his back injury allows him to play. Jackson is not ruled out.
Harbaugh stated, “He has played and practiced a great deal of football. He’s also won many games for us.” “If he is able to go, he’ll go.” You can bet that.
Harbaugh stated that Jackson’s MRI showed a deep tissue conusion which is extremely painful. He has been working to loosen the area all week.
Harbaugh stated that “you can’t tell when the time is right.” “He must be able play.” He must be able move and be an athlete.
Tyler Huntley would get his second start this season if Jackson is unable to play by Saturday. He was a key player in the Ravens’ Week 8 win over the Chicago Bears, which is arguably Baltimore’s greatest victory.
Both cornerback Chidobe awuzie and left guard Andrew Vorhees are scheduled to play following full participation in practice on Thursday. Both players are not listed as injured heading into this game.
After being declared to return from the injured reserve, linebacker Jay Higgins IV is a questionable player. Taven Bryan, a defensive tackle who was designated to return from injured reserves on Friday, has now been ruled in.
Both Packers quarterbacks Jordan Love and Malik Willis are questionable following their limited participation on Thursday.
All of the following players are also listed as questionable: offensive tackle Zach Tom (back/knee), receiver Christian Watson, (shoulder/illness), Evan Williams, (knee), Bo Melton at cornerback (illness), Sean Rhyan at guard (knee/illness).
Both linebacker Kristian Williams (back), and guard John Williams, (ankle), have been ruled out.
