Lamar Jackson could be in for a big game against Vikings’ defense

The Minnesota Vikings are known for their elite defense. Brian Flores’s blitz packs keep the opposing quarterbacks constantly on their toes and are great for putting pressure at line of scrimmage.

They also have some weaknesses. Lamar Jackson can often be difficult to stop, as he is able to run and pass.

Former NFL QB Dan Orlovsky thinks they may have some problems against Lamar Jackson. The Baltimore Ravens are the best dual-threat QB.

“Lamar’s Legs today vs Minnesotas MFO Pressures. Justin Herbert scrambled seven times this year against Flores’ defense for 62 yard and four first downs. Caleb Williams scrambled six times for 58 yard and four first downs,” Orlovsky wrote on X.

Lamar Jackson was the best scrambling quarterback in history. He will never hesitate to run and gain yards whenever he spots an inch of open space.

After a poor start to the season, the Ravens need to win every game they can for the rest of the season. They should therefore be aggressive in their approach to make a point against a defense of the Vikings that is capable of making it to the playoffs.

This team has left a lot to be desired, especially in the big moments. That has been the main criticism of Jackson and John Harbaugh. If their usual aggressive blitzing defence allows Jackson to get into a rhythm and roll out of his pocket, Kevin O’Connell’s side could be in trouble pretty quickly.
