Lamar Jackson Among Eight Ravens Not Practicing Wednesday

Eight Ravens including six starters did not practice Wednesday in preparation for the New York Jets led by quarterback Lamar Jackson.

Jackson missed the first practice last week as well due to knee pain. Jackson returned to full participation in the days following and did not have any injury designation going into the win at Cleveland.

Other Ravens starters who were not present for the start of practice included safety Kyle Hamilton (ankle), linebacker Roquan, Smith, Ronnie Stanley on left, Andrew Vorhees on left, and Rashod Bateman, wide receiver. Also absent were cornerback Keyon Mart and tight end Isaiah Likely.

Marlon Hustrey, the cornerback who missed all of last weekend after undergoing finger surgery, returned to practice on Monday with his hand in a wrap. John Harbaugh, the Head Coach of the Baltimore Ravens, said on Monday that he is “optimistic about Humphrey playing against Jets”.

After missing the Cleveland game, running back Justice Hill (toe), is also in practice.

Martin (chest), who had just recorded his first career sack, spent the night in a Cleveland-area hospital. Harbaugh stated that the Ravens will monitor his progress even though tests were negative.

Bateman was not in Cleveland. Hamilton and Smith both played 100 percent of snaps in Cleveland. They may be taking a rest day. Stanley has had a few rest days in the last couple of weeks. Vorhees missed his first practice of the season.
