John Harbaugh wants DeAndre Hopkins to be more involved

Hopkins isn’t asked to do a lot of work because Baltimore has a number of offensive weapons. Hopkins has made some clutch catches, including a diving catch he made in the fourth quarter of Week 11 against Cleveland Browns. This turned a second and 12 into a 3rd-and-1. The Ravens were then in position to score the “Hurricane”, the game-winning touchdown, by Andrews.

Hopkins had another spectacular touchdown grab with one hand in Buffalo during Week 1. He also had a highlight reel deep touchdown catch in Week 2 against the Browns.

Hopkins, however, has only played in two games where he has played over 40% of offensive snaps. His 16.3% (13 snaps), against Pittsburgh was a season-low. Harbaugh, however, has been impressed with Hopkins’ professionalism and work ethic since the start of training camp.

Harbaugh stated, “If you watch the game again, you will see him play his heart out.” He’s running routes. He is blocking, competing, and fighting to open up. He is doing all he can, and I love that about him. He has become one of my favourite players ever. “We’re going be friends for a very long time.”
