John Harbaugh Updates Rashod Batteman

Ravens and Brandon Stephens are eager to face each other for the first time

Brandon Stephens, Jets cornerback, will be returning to Baltimore on Sunday.

Stephens spent the first four seasons of his NFL career with the Ravens. This offseason, he signed a deal worth $36 million for three years with the Jets.

The former fourth-round pick has been a critical piece of New York’s defense and is tied as the eighth-highest-graded cornerback among players who have played at least 50% of defensive snaps, according to Pro Football Focus.

Harbaugh stated, “I have seen him play on tape. He’s really playing well.” “I’m very proud of him. He’s playing on the opposite side of this game and we respect that. “It will be an exciting competition.”

Stephens is the Jets’ leader in pass defenses, with seven. He attributes some of his success back to his time spent in Baltimore.

Stephens told NewYorkJets.com that he was forever grateful to the veterans who helped him in his career. “To get to where I am now – I’m in my fifth year. “I am so grateful to them.”

Stephens says the Jets defense is as prepared as it can be to stop Lamar Jackson.

Stephens stated, “We have an excellent game plan to achieve this goal. But it will take everyone doing their jobs and putting on all hats for the football. We preach this every week. “We just need to have good technique, play the keys and have good eyes first, and that will take care of everything.”
