

Joe Flacco was the youngest starting quarterback on Thursday Night Football when he faced Aaron Rodgers of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Flacco and Rodgers were the only quarterbacks in Super Bowl history to have started against each other at age 40.
Flacco won the shootout, throwing 342 yards with three touchdowns. The score was 33-31. Flacco’s 28-yard pass to wide receiver Tee Higgins put the Bengals into position for the game winning field goal.
Rodgers also had a memorable evening. He threw 244 yards, four touchdowns and two interceptions. With 2:31 left, he gave Pittsburgh a lead of 31-30 with a 68 yard touchdown to tight end Pat Freiermuth.
Flacco was the one who returned home elated after his Bengals debut, despite being dealt by the Cleveland Browns to Mike Tomlin ‘s dismay .
Flacco commented, “Man, today was fun. It was great to play against Aaron and the Steelers.” “I’ve played against them so many times. “They’re such an old foe.”
