Joe Burrow is expected to play against the Ravens but Bengals rule out two other stars

Sanders made his first NFL start in Sunday’s victory of the Cleveland Browns over the Las Vegas Raiders. The score was 24-10. The rookie quarterback, who was accompanied by his Hall of Fame dad Deion, completed 11 of the 20 passes he attempted for a total of 209 yards and one touchdown. He also made one interception.

Sanders took over for fellow rookie quarterback Dillon Gabriel, who was out with a concussion and had started six previous games. Myles Garrett led the Browns’ pass-rush, with three sacks, to reach 18 for the year, a franchise record. Garrett must have five sacks within six games in order to surpass the NFL record of 22.5 held by Michael Strahan and T.J. Watt.

Sanders was the first Browns rookie to start his career since 1995. Sanders enjoyed the moment, after being drafted in the fifth round and having to wait more than half of the season before playing.

The last six to seven months were extremely difficult, Sanders told Tiffany Blackmon from CBS.

I was not nervous before the game. I worked as hard as I could during the week to make Sundays fun. The offensive line welcomed me with open arms when I took on that role. They knew I was all business. “I’m grateful to have my parents and my dad here with me as we celebrate the Browns win.”
