After leaving Sunday’s game, Ravens cornerback Marlon Hushprey has returned to the practice field.
The Ravens are preparing to face the Detroit Lions at M&T Bank Stadium on “Monday Night Football”.
Three defensive starters, including cornerback Nate Wiggins and outside linebacker Kyle Van Noy as well as defensive tackle Nnamdi madubuike, were absent at the beginning of Thursday’s training. Patrick Ricard, a fullback (calf), and John Jenkins, a nose tackle were not in attendance.
Chidobe jumped up on Wiggins and knocked him down to the ground after he had a near-touchdown and interception return in Sunday’s victory over the Cleveland Browns. Wiggins continued to play after the incident, but Head Coach John Harbaugh stated Monday that Wiggins is “fine.”
Van Noy’s absence was not surprising after he sustained a hamstring sprain against the Browns. is reported to have been able to sideline him for several games.
Madubuike missed the first practice last week due to an ankle injury. He returned for full practice the following week, and recorded his second sack this season by taking down Joe Flacco.
Likely was sidelined after breaking a bone in his right foot at the beginning of training camp. Last Friday, he returned to the practice field and on Thursday, he was participating in individual drills and running routes with the Ravens tight ends.
Likely replied, “Very Soon” when asked Wednesday night on WJZ Purple Playbook if he would be returning to the field.
Humphrey did not play the final few minutes against the Browns because of a groin problem. Humphrey will be key in trying to match the Lions’ talented arsenal of wide receivers.
Rasheen Ali, the Browns’ backup running back, wore a red non contact jersey after being forced to miss the game due to a concussion. Keaton Mitchel would be likely to play if Ali wasn’t cleared before Monday.
