The Baltimore Ravens ended the 2024 regular season with a 12-5 record, giving them the AFC North title and the third seed in the conference, and they’re hoping that this is the year they finally get back to the Super Bowl.
They have gotten outstanding seasons from quarterback Lamar Jackson and running back Derrick Henry, and second-year wide receiver Zay Flowers made some strides.
Unfortunately, Flowers suffered a knee injury in the regular-season finale against the Cleveland Browns, and his status for the wild-card game against the Pittsburgh Steelers is in doubt.
“[Ravens] will see if Zay Flowers can make it back in time for this week’s game against the Steelers. … Sounds like it could be a little challenging. The good part is it doesn’t seem to be a long-term injury. If Baltimore is able to advance, I think he will definitely be back the next week,” ESPN insider Adam Schefter said, via Sarah Ellison of Ravens Vault.

The Ravens have lacked a true No. 1 wide receiver threat for some time, but Flowers started to give them one last season as a rookie when they finished with the NFL’s best record.
This season, he caught 74 passes for 1,059 yards and four touchdowns, and as a result Baltimore has arguably its most complete team since Jackson became QB.
But heading into the playoffs, people seem to be counting them out.
Many observers seem to expect the Kansas City Chiefs, the two-time defending Super Bowl champions, to win the AFC again, and others feel this is the year the Buffalo Bills finally win it all.
But Baltimore certainly has the talent to win its third Vince Lombardi Trophy, as long as Flowers and other key players are healthy.
