Inactives for Ravens-Steelers: CB Marlin Humphrey will play

Marlon Huff will be playing through his illness against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.

Humphrey was not included on the Ravens’ list because he was only added to the injury reports late last week. Humphrey was listed as questionable for Friday’s game, but will play in Pittsburgh when the season is on the line.

Baltimore will again use four interior defensive linemen, and Aeneas Peasebles as the team’s No. Keyon Martin, an undrafted rookie, will not be required as the team’s number one. Humphrey is active, and the Ravens safeties are often lining up as the slot. Cooper Rush will serve as the emergency third quarterback. Joe Noteboom, meanwhile, will sit out another game with Carson Vinson as the swing guard.

Kirkwood was elevated to the practice squad in Week 18 last year, and Oruwariye deactivated. Kirkwood’s elevation in Week 18 of last year was to get a larger game check. Humphrey was available, so Oruwariye no longer was needed. Oruwariye may have also been elevated to receive a larger game check as Martin would have been available if Humphrey was unable to play.

All of the Steelers’ inactive players were healthy scratched before the game.
