George Godsey will be the new offensive coordinator at Georgia Tech

Godsey, 47, is currently in his fourth year with the Ravens. He has been coaching in the NFL ever since 2011. Godsey was the offensive coordinator of the Houston Texans for two years (2015-16). He also served as the co-offensive director and tight ends coach at the Miami Dolphins (2021).

During Godsey’s tenure, the Ravens had a top-notch tight end group that included Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely. Charlie Kolar was also a part of this group.

Godsey will join the staff of Head Coach John Harbaugh in 2022, before Greg Roman finishes his final season as offensive director. Godsey spent the last three seasons working alongside current Offensive coordinator Todd Monken.

Godsey will be returning to Georgia Tech where he was the starting quarterback during two seasons of college football. Godsey led the Yellow Jackets in two bowl games and ended his college career with the highest completion rate of 63.3 %.
