Derrick Henry, a Ravens player, walked to the Ravens’ sideline after another fumble. He walked with his hands on top of his head in shock. He couldn’t help but slam his helmet on the bench when he reached it.
Henry had three fumbles in the entire last season. He has now had three fumbles in the Ravens first three games. Two of them were in the fourth quarter.
The Ravens are 1-2 in the early season and this is one of their most frustrating moments. They lost to the Bills 38-30 at M&T Bank Stadium during “Monday Night Football”. Henry apologized after the game to his teammates, coaches and fans.
Henry said, “I don’t know what to say.” It’s not good. “I’m going keep working until it is fixed.”
Aidan Hutchinson of the Lions was able to knock Henry off balance with a punch from behind. The Ravens’ defense had just made a crucial stop, and Baltimore was in the position to gain the lead after a back-and forth contest.
Henry’s fumble, in Buffalo, that started the Bills’ 16-point comeback at the last minute is all too familiar. Henry’s fumble, which occurred with 8:31 remaining in the fourth-quarter gave the Lions an important field goal to extend their lead.
