Derrick Henry named AFC Offensive player of the week after Career Night

Derrick Henry keeps piling up the accolades.

Henry was named AFC Offensive Player for the week on Wednesday, after leading the Ravens to victory over the Packers 41-24.

Henry ran for season-high 216 yard and four touchdowns in the win. This was a career high 36 carries. His dominating performance helped Baltimore stay in the playoff race and secured Sunday’s AFC North championship game against the Steelers.

The Ravens relied on Henry to fill in for Lamar Jackson, who was out due to a back contusion. This strategy worked.

Henry said, “It was a great game.” “I was built for this.” “This is what I’m trained for.”
