Webb, who has been coaching football for three years, is getting interviews with NFL head coaches. This is a rapid rise for the profession.

Webb, at 30 years of age, would be the same age as Sean McVay in terms of the youngest head coach hired by the NFL during the modern era.

McVay worked as an offensive coordinator in Los Angeles for three years prior to his hiring by the Rams as head coach. McVay was the youngest coach to ever reach the Super Bowl three years after he became a head coach. He became the youngest coach to win the Super Bowl three years later. The Rams “gamble” was a success.

Webb’s first coaching position was with the Denver Broncos as quarterbacks coach in 2023. Sean Payton promoted Webb to the role of pass game coordinator after two years.

Webb helped Bo Nix to become one of NFL’s top young quarterbacks. Nix’s second season has seen him throw for the eighth most passing yards in all of the NFL (3,931) and Denver is AFC No. The AFC’s No. 1 seed is heading into the postseason.

Nix stated that Webb was “underrated.”

Nix stated, “He has always prepared me exceptionally well. Especially from the beginning.” He played the position, and knows how it feels to walk into a match. He always prepares me to a high level, and we are always prepared for the task.
