Clifton Brown’s Five Thoughts on Ravens Rolling Past Browns

Baltimore’s offensive options appear endless.

Ravens have already had six different players score touchdowns this season: Derrick Henry (with seven catches for 75 yards), Lamar Jackson, Zay Flower, Devontez Walker and DeAndre Hopkins. Flowers was the top receiver with seven catches and 75 yards. Jackson, however, connected on eight targets.

Todd Monken, the offensive coordinator, has plenty of options to choose from, even without Mark Andrews or Rashod Bateman scoring yet. Henry was held in check by the Browns, who only allowed him to gain 23 yards from 11 carries. This is his lowest output since becoming a Raven. Baltimore, however, found ways to make the most of their 242 total yards and exploded in other areas.

It doesn’t really matter which Ravens players get the most food from week to week. Monken’s Year 3 offense may be the most explosive yet, even though it’s only a small sample.
