Clifton Brown’s Five Thoughts on Ravens’ Loss to Texans

The Ravens’ performance on a sunny, warm day at M&T Bank Stadium did little to improve their current situation.

The Ravens, who were plagued by injuries, suffered their third consecutive loss. It was the team’s most lopsided defeat in history. They lost 44-10 and widened their early season hole.

The Ravens are 1-4 after five games, which is dangerous territory for any team hoping to make the playoffs. The Ravens must not only improve, but also get healthier.

Six of their seven players were Pro Bowlers last year – Lamar Jackson (Kyle Hamilton), Roquan Smith (Marlon Humphrey), Ronnie Stanley (Pat Ricard), and Marlon Hushprey. Nnamdi Mdubuike, a defensive tackle from last year’s Pro Bowl, has been ruled out of the season.

It was obvious that the Ravens were severely shorthanded. Houston led 31-3 in the third-quarter after Nick Chubb ran for a touchdown of 27 yards. It felt like the final blow in a one-sided battle.

John Harbaugh, Head coach of the team, said: “We were beaten in every possible way.” “I didn’t expect to see this. I thought that we would play much better than this. A big disappointment. We have to find a way to change it, to discover who we are next week. We have to find ourselves.”

Here are five thoughts I have on the Ravens looking for solutions to a variety of issues.
