Clifton Brown’s Five Thoughts on Ravens Dropping to 1-3

The Ravens’ problems are much more serious than their recent loss to Kansas City.

The Ravens are off to their worst start in years after losing a 37-20 decision against the Chiefs. It was Baltimore’s biggest defeat not only of the season but also for several years.

Baltimore lost to Kansas City for the fourth time, but the Ravens were concerned about how they played in other cities, too, and not just Kansas City. On Sunday, the Ravens lost a player after another due to injury. Lamar Jackson, Ronnie Stanley, Roquan Smith, Marl Humphrey and Nat Wiggins all had to leave early due to injuries.

John Harbaugh did not provide any updates on the injuries sustained by the Ravens after the game. He instead assessed the team’s collective performance through four games. In Week 5, the Ravens will play at home against Houston Texans (3-3)

They coached better. Harbaugh stated that the Chiefs played better. We have to get back to the office and figure out a way to win our next game of football. We’re facing some issues, and we need to handle them intelligently. I know that our guys will get to work.

“We have played three of top teams in league.” We were dealt a bad hand. “It doesn’t matter. We’ve got win the next match.”

Usually, the Ravens-Chiefs game is decided in the fourth quarter. Kansas City took a 20-10 halftime lead and never looked back. Jackson, who had left the game in the early fourth quarter and was resigned that his Kansas City career record would drop to 0-4 after the game, did not represent the Ravens’ vision of the game.

Here are my thoughts about a Ravens’ team that was in desperate need of a win to make them feel good, but came back from Kansas City even worse.
