Bills vs. Who’s playing, who’s not?

Bills to have new kicker; cornerbacks dealing with groin injuries

Tyler Bass, who has been placed on the injured reserve list due to hip/groin injuries, will miss at least four Bills games.

Buffalo has signed 41-year old veteran kicker Matt Prater, who will be playing Sunday. Prater had a 6-for-6 record on field-goal attempts during his four games last season with the Arizona Cardinals.

Bass made 82.8% field goal attempts in his first season. He also connected on two crucial field goals during the Bills’ win over Ravens, including one of 51 yards.

Cornerback is another area of concern for the Bills. Christian Benford, the Bills’ top corner (groin), has resumed full practice. However, Tre’Davious white (groin), a fellow starter and former Raven (who has not practiced for ten days) is also doubtful to be playing.

Buffalo’s first-round rookie pick in the cornerback position, Maxwell Hairston was placed on injury reserve/designated to return because of a knee problem.

Keon Coleman, the starting wide receiver, was also limited in practice by a groin strain this week. However, he will not be playing on Sunday due to his injury.
