Bengals believe they can build on Joe Flacco debut

Pittsburgh Steelers – Aaron Rodgers DK Metcalf Jalen Ramsey Are All Flourishing

Pittsburgh’s new high-profile additions continue to thrive as the Steelers (4-1), who now lead the AFC North, beat the Cleveland Browns 23-9.

Aaron Rodgers had another good game (21 of 30 for 235 yards and two touchdowns). Rodgers preferred target was DK Metcalf (4 catches, 95 yard, 1 touchdown). Jalen Ramsey, the defensive back, had his first two career sacks.

The Steelers have been a great fit for all three of the veterans in their first seasons. Rodgers was pleased to see Ramsey back in the lineup following a hamstring problem in Week 4. Ramsey was able to return to the lineup after a bye knowing that the Steelers were scheduled to play on Thursday.

Rodgers told Teresa Varley, the Steelers website , “I don’t think that some players are afraid to play. But for Jalen, to do it with all he has accomplished in the league, the respect I feel for him is unimaginable.” He had two sacks, pass break-ups, and tackles.

“I think that by playing today, he has shown us all what kind of a guy he is.

DeShon Elliott said that it is too early to be excited about Pittsburgh’s rapid start. Elliott, when asked about the Ravens’ 1-5 record, referred to last year, when they overtook Pittsburgh in the final weeks of the season and won the division.

Chris Adamski, of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, reported that Elliott stated “It is still early in the year.” “We have to keep winning.” We’ve got to keep winning playoff games, regardless of what happens at the season’s end.
