Baltimore Ravens Week 12, odds: Ravens are heavy favorites against Jets

The Baltimore Ravens (5-5), who have won four of their last five games, are facing arguably their toughest opponent at home this season. They opened as 13.5 point favorites in their Week 12 game against the New York Jets (2-4).

This is the largest spread for a Ravens match this season. The Ravens have won by at least 14 points in three of their games, including two wins at home and one away. They will have another chance to win this game on Sunday. The Jets are ranked 25th for points scored, and 27th for points allowed. However, they have only lost by a margin of 14 points or greater in two games this year.

For good reason, the Ravens remain a strong favorite. Baltimore will face Tyrod Taylor for the second time this season, as New York starts him on Sunday. They beat the Browns QB Joe Flacco who may play the Ravens on Thanksgiving. At the deadline for trades, The Jets engaged in a massive fire sale and shipped two of their top defenders from New York.

This should allow Baltimore to win their fifth consecutive game this week, and possibly take the lead of the division in case the Mason Rudolph led Steelers lose against the Bears.

44.5 points (-114/-106)
