According to the NFL’s Transaction Wire, the Baltimore Ravens tried out punter Luke Elzinga who is left-handed.
This has nothing to with Jordan Stout. He is enjoying a career high in a year of contract. It’s actually about Browns punter Corey Boroquez.
LaJohntay Wester, a rookie returner who is left-footed like Boroquez, was given some practice against Elzinga by the Ravens. Wester returned only one of Boroquez’s five punts during the first meeting between the two teams in Week 2. However, he gained 23 yards and gave the Ravens a good field position. He’ll be hoping to make a long return on Sunday.
Elzinga, a former Oklahoma Sooner, was invited to a Tennessee Titans minicamp as a free undrafted agent in the early part of this year.
